NVIDIA's expanded Agent Toolkit adds an Agent Knowledge Foundation that turns company data into concepts agents can query

AspireAI community · NVIDIA
NVIDIA expanded its open-source Agent Toolkit with an Agent Knowledge Foundation, new open models, a secure agent runtime and agent blueprints, aimed at enterprises that want agents grounded in internal data without moving it. The foundation bundles CUDA-X libraries including cuDF, cuGraph, cuML, cuOpt and cuVS, plus a new Auto-Ontology library that translates raw company data into business concepts such as customers, products and orders and maps how they relate. It also carries Nemotron Retriever and the Kumo Structured family - Kumo Tabular, Relational, Time Series and Forecast - and OpenShell provides the runtime boundary that controls what an agent can reach. A new NemoClaw blueprint for agent optimization adds a step-by-step starting point for improving agent intelligence over time. The post is an announcement from the vendor, so the claimed benefits are not backed by independent evaluation on this page.

THE BIG PICTURE
A FRESH PERSPECTIVE

One distance function matched sparse-autoencoder features across layers and compressed feature circuits into supernodes
Two sparse-autoencoder analyses have resisted scaling: matching semantically similar features across layers, and compressing large feature circuits into interpretable supernodes. This paper argues both are the same underlying problem, estimating semantic distances between SAE features that sit on different activation manifolds. Its representation treats each feature not as a single decoder vector but as an activation-weighted distribution over the hidden states expressing it, projects those distributions into a shared reference space, and compares them with Wasserstein distance. The representation is proved invariant to activation rescaling and stable under perturbation, and recovers true matches under finite-sample margin conditions. Empirically it outperformed decoder-vector and LLM-based baselines and captured subtle functional distinctions between related features, and it compressed large feature circuits into interpretable supernodes automatically. The limitation is that this is interpretability tooling: the paper demonstrates better feature matching and circuit compression, not that downstream interpretability claims become more accurate.
